  • How do I prepare for my tattoo?
    - Once you have a design in mind, contact Emma to discuss options and availability. - Make sure you send any reference images through to Emma before the appointment so she can incorporate them into the design. - Emma will draft a couple of concept ideas based on your request. - You will then receive a estimate quote for your tattoo. - Please bare in mind that this is an estimate, some tattoos take longer than expected and depending on your skin, pain threshold and how many breaks you decide to have, times & pricing may vary. - Try and prepare your body the best you can, by getting a good night's rest the night before, eating well and staying hydrated. Bring water and nourishment with you to keep your energy levels up. - Do NOT drink alcohol or intoxicate your body the night or morning before your appointment. - Please wear suitable, breathable clothing that allows access to the area being tattooed.

  • How do I look after my new tattoo?
It is your responsibility to care for your tattoo and your body through the healing process once you leave the studio. After Your Session 1. Remove wrap after two hours 2. Wash tattoo with warm water and soap 3. Pat dry and apply Bepanthen cream (not oil) after washing 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 each morning and night for 5 – 7 days Important Things to Remember - Your tattoo is an open wound, so treat it like one. - Keeping it clean and not scratching it are common sense. - Keep unwashed hands off it. - Do NOT soak your tattoo in any form of water until healed. Showers are fine. - Do NOT sun bake or any other form of tanning for one month. Even after your tattoo is healed, too much sun will fade the colour in your tattoo over time. Use sunscreen. - Picking the scabs from your tattoo while it is healing will cause the colour to fall out. Let the scabs fall off naturally.
  • How much will a Tattoo Cost?
Tattoos are a form of art. Art takes time to create. With any tattoo it is hard to put a specific price unless Emma has an hourly rate; but she doesn't like to do it this way, as sometimes some pieces take longer for different reasons, and we all need breaks and want to be comfortable, not rushed. As a rough idea, you could assume approximately $100 an hour, but it is best to ask Emma for a quote, as it may be more or less than this depending on the design you want, how long it will take and whether you would like your design drawn up by Emma. Emma is always happy to create something personal that will fit into your existing budget as well.
